On one hand, Reliance Jio is going to launch a new OTT app to compete with apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar. This app can also be known as ‘Jio Voot’. The app is said to include new movies, web series along with various shows. Overall, Jio Voot app will compete directly with Netflix, Disney + Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video. JioVoot Subscription How Much Jio Voot’s starting monthly subscription plan can be as low as Rs 99. Apart from this, Jio can also launch base, standard and premium plans. In these plans, the premium plan will also provide special features including high quality video quality. Apart from this, the annual subscription plan of Jio Voot can also be launched. There is no official announcement yet regarding the launch date of Jio Voot app. But it is likely that this app will be launched after the IPL season i.e. after May 28. Meanwhile, some reports suggest that Jio may rename its old Jio Cinema app to Jio Voot. Jio Cinema app is currently a free video streaming service which is live streaming IPL 2023. Last week, some reports also suggested that Jio may now charge for the Cinema app.
