Narayan Murthy, the co-founder of the country’s leading IT company Infosys, used to reach the office at 6.20 am. Murthy followed this routine till his retirement in 2011. He told this during an interview with Moneycontrol.

The host told how Narayan Murthy used to reach office at 7 in the morning. During this, Murthy interrupted and told that he used to be in the company’s campus at 6:20 in the morning. He said- I used to come to office at 6.20 in the morning and stayed till 8-9 in the night. The 76-year-old billionaire Murthy said reaching office on time motivates the youth.
Had to compromise: However, Murthy also admitted that setting up Infosys had to compromise his family’s needs and could not give him time. Infosys co-founder said – I think entrepreneurship can be possible with courage and sacrifice. So, if you want to create something like that it requires a lot of hard work, commitment, a lot of sacrifices.
Explain that Infosys was founded in 1981 by Narayana Murthy and his associates. Last year, it became the fourth Indian company to reach $100 billion in market capitalisation.
