Today is the first day of the year and you too must have received lots of photo videos and animated stickers as New Year wishes on WhatsApp. It is obvious that all this fills up the storage very fast. Manually deleting the huge amount of media files received is a headache. But do you know that WhatsApp specially provides its users with a storage tool that helps in identifying chats that are consuming more storage and helps in sorting the files according to their size. If you are also looking for a way to free up WhatsApp storage space, then read further…
step 1. First open WhatsApp and tap on Settings.
Step 2. Here tap on Storage and data option and now click on Manage Storage option.
Step 3. At the top, in the Forwarded many times option, you can see the messages that have been forwarded many times. ‘Larger than 5MB’ files will appear just below that.
Step 4. Now tap on the above section to get the option to select and delete them one by one or you can delete all at once.
Step 5. Users can delete media from chat using search option.
