Crosses Rs 10,000 crore in December
According to a report, in the month of December, smartphones worth about Rs 8,100 crore have been exported from the country. At the same time, some exports of the Smartphone Industry have crossed Rs 10,000 crore in the month of December. In such a situation, these figures are working to give a big boost to the ‘Make in India’ programme. Explain that Apple and Samsung smartphones are manufactured in the largest number in India. In such a situation, by exporting more than $ 1 billion in a month, Apple has left Samsung far behind in terms of exports and has become the country’s top smartphone exporting company. It is worth noting that many models of iPhone are being made in the country. This includes the models of the iPhone 12, 13, 14 and 14+. There are three main iPhone manufacturers in India. These are Foxconn Hon Hai, Pegatron and Wistron. In the country, this manufacturer is manufacturing its iPhone in the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. To promote the Make in India program, the Central Government has launched the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme in the month of April 2020.
