With this, companies can launch Android smartphones for less than Rs 3000. With this decision of Google, India’s market will open for smartphones. Apps can be installed from places other than the Google Play Store on the Android platform. But now users will also be able to update sideloaded apps automatically. Not only this, third party app stores will be able to update apps in the same way as the Play Store currently does.

The Union Minister has described the trust as ‘Bharosa’. BharOS, also known as Bharos, is an indigenous mobile operating system. The special thing about this OS is that it comes with hi-tech security and privacy. That is, in this mobile operating system, users get more freedom, control and flexibility to choose and use apps according to their needs. BharOS can be installed on commercial off-the-shelf devices. Also, the trust comes with no default apps (NDA).   • Tapping on the above sections will give you the option to select and delete them one by one or you can select and delete all of them.

Delhi: Qualcomm is bringing the Emergency Satellite feature to Android phones in 2023. The new Satellite feature will be available on devices that have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Apple launched its iPhone 14 series with exclusive satellite emergency messaging. Qualcomm has announced that its new processors and modems will come with a feature called Snapdragon Satellite, which will help people contact relevant authorities in case of emergency when there is no network.

More powerful than SOS feature

With the help of Iridium satellite network, Qualcomm company has confirmed that it seems to be more powerful than Apple’s Emergency SOS feature. The good thing is that Qualcomm is implementing it better to give better experience to Android users and give tough competition to Apple. The chip maker has confirmed that Android phone users will be able to send and receive messages even in areas with no cell coverage. This feature will not only be useful in emergency cases but will also support SMS texting and other messaging applications.

Some change in services likely

Qualcomm has confirmed that the facility will be accessible in remote, rural and offshore locations. But people will not be allowed to exchange messages for free. There is a possibility of some changes in this services. Qualcomm has said that the cost of satellite-based messaging and dependent services will depend on OEMs and service providers and how they offer the service.

Premium messaging will come later, and people will have to pay extra for it

The new Satellite feature will be available on devices that have Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. Initially, the Snapdragon Satellite feature will be limited to use in emergency situations so that you can contact someone for help if you’re in a remote area without mobile service. Qualcomm says that premium messaging will come later, and people will have to pay extra for it. According to Qualcomm, emergency texting may be free or may cost a small amount. It’s worth pointing out that this isn’t something Apple has introduced yet and it only lets you send via satellite using its SOS feature.

oppo has announced the timeline for the global rollout of android 13 based coloros 13 update

Soon a lot of Oppo smartphones will be as good as new. The company is about to release Android 13 update for select phones, which will add new features to these phones. The company has also released a list of smartphones that will be eligible for the new update. According to a report, Oppo has announced the timeline for the global rollout of the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 update for Q1 2023. The Chinese smartphone company will introduce the new OS update for Oppo Find X2 Pro, Find X2, Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, Find X2 League of Legends Edition and other smartphones. The company is currently rolling out the new OS update to 28 phones including four generations of the Reno series – Reno 8, Reno 7, Reno 6 and even the Reno 5. The ColorOS 13 update based on Android 13 will be rolled out in a phased manner.

As per the details shared by the official Twitter handle of ColorOS, the timeline for the stable as well as beta ColorOS 13 update rollout has been released in the first quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, 28 Oppo phones have started receiving the stable version of ColorOS 13. The list includes four generations of the Reno series – Reno 8, Reno 7 5G, Reno 6, Reno 5 as well as Find X5 series, Find X3 series, F21 Pro 5G, F21 Pro, F19 Pro+, Oppo K10 5G and Oppo K10 Huh.

These phones will be new in India
Oppo Find X2 Pro, Find X2, Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition will get ColorOS 13 update from January 13. Oppo Reno 8 and Oppo F21s Pro in India will get the latest OS update from January 14.

Apart from these, Oppo Reno 5F and F19 Pro will get the beta version of ColorOS 13 in February 2023. The company will start accepting applications for beta testers for these phones from January 11. Users can apply for the ColorOS 13 beta update of their phones. For this click on About Device Settings -> Tap on Top of the page -> Tap on Top Right Icon -> Trial Version -> Fill your details -> Apply Now. The ColorOS 13 update is based on Android 13 and will come with Aquamorphic Design theme colors, faster system speed, better stability, better battery life, and other features.

Oppo recently announced to offer four years of its ColorOS updates for select phones arriving in 2023. The Chinese smartphone company will also bring five years of security updates for those phones. While the company hasn’t revealed the names of the smartphone models that will receive the additional OS update, it is speculated to be offered only to flagship phones.
