Delhi: Philips today launched the Philips 40B1U5601H gaming monitor. Let us tell you that the launched monitor is a customized version of the 40B1U5600 monitor being sold since last month. The 40B1U5601H sports a 5-megapixel webcam instead of the normal panel. However, all other specifications such as the 5W speaker pair remain the same. Let us tell you that recently the company launched Philips 27B1U7903 and Philips Evnia gaming monitors in the market. The Philips 27B1U7903 is a premium 4K monitor with a mini LED backlight and a Thunderbolt 4 port. At the same time, Philips Evnia has a 34-inch curved screen, which supports 165Hz refresh rate.

Talking about the price, the Philips 40B1U5601H will be made available later this month for Rs 73,352. While Philips is already selling the 40B1U5600 for Rs.64,432.

Monitor Specifications
Both the monitors flaunt a 40-inch screen with W-LED lights, a resolution of 3,400 x 1,440 pixels, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, both the monitors offer 120Hz refresh rate when connected to a device via DisplayPort or USB Type-C. Only 100Hz refresh rate is available using HDMI. Philips claims the 40B1U5601H has the same 1,200:1 contrast ratio and 4 ms GtG response time as the 40B1U5600. In addition to the 40B1U5600’s 500 nits and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, the 40B1U5601H offers just 300 nits of maximum brightness. Philips has a single DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB Type-C connection on the single monitor. DisplayPort supports Alt Mode and 100W Power Delivery. The 40B1U5601H has the same USB Type-A hub and RJ45 Ethernet port as the 40B1U5600.
