WTC Final 2023 | Andy Flower joins Australia as consultant ahead of WTC final

London: Former England coach Andy Flower has been included by Australia (India vs Australia) as a consultant before the World Test Championship final (WTC Final 2023) against India from Wednesday. Flower, the legendary player of Zimbabwe and the head coach of Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), was the head coach of England from 2009 to 2014. According to ‘ESPNcricinfo’, Flower will not serve the team in the opening match of the Ashes series starting on June 16 after the WTC final. However, he will return to his role for the later matches of this series. Flower has been one of England’s most successful coaches. Under his supervision, the team won three consecutive Ashes series. The Pat Cummins-led Australian team will leave no stone unturned to become the first team since 2001 to win an Ashes series in England.
