Wrestlers Protest | Atrocities on wrestlers by Delhi Police! Bajrang Punia said – Police is not allowing to bring water and food, electricity has also been cut



ANI Photo New Delhi. Two FIRs were lodged on Friday against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Meanwhile, the wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar have accused the Delhi Police administration of not allowing them to bring food and water. It is being told that the electricity here has also been cut. Wrestler Bajrang Punia said, “The police administration is not allowing water to be brought here, food is not allowed to be brought here and they have cut off the electricity here. We had ordered some goods but they are not allowing us to bring them here and are making the person who brought the goods run away after beating them. No goods are allowed to be brought inside. What kind of pressure has come on them today, there was no such problem before today, it has happened only because of the pressure of the Supreme Court. He said, “Until we get justice, we will remain here no matter how much the police administration tortures us.” Also read Case filed against WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Delhi’s Connaught Place Police Station. In which the first FIR was registered under the POCSO Act on the allegations of a minor wrestler, while the second is regarding outraging the modesty. Wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar termed it as the ‘first step towards victory’. They, however, said that they will continue their protest till the Bharatiya Janata Party MP is removed from all his posts. Wrestlers, who have accused the WFI chief of sexual harassment and intimidation, have been demanding registration of an FIR against him ever since they resumed their agitation on April 23.
