According to this draft schedule, the ODI World Cup 2023 will start from October 5 and the final match will be played on November 19. However, there was no response from the ICC on this. As per this schedule, the India and Pakistan match will be played on October 15 at the K Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the same time, the final match of the World Cup will be played in Ahmedabad on 19 November. The semi-finals of this tournament will be held in Mumbai and Kolkata on November 15 and 16 respectively. Both the semi-finals will have a reserve day. The final match will be held in Ahmedabad on November 19 while November 20 will be the reserve day. All the three knockout matches will be day night. The first match of the World Cup will be played between England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad on October 5. At the same time, host India will play its first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Ten teams will participate in the World Cup, out of which eight have qualified and the remaining two will reach through the ongoing qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe. Pakistan will face Australia in Bengaluru on October 20, while England will take on South Africa in Mumbai the next day. India and New Zealand will face off in Dharamsala on October 22.
