WFI Row | Today Rakesh Tikait will meet wrestlers at Jantar Mantar, many khaps and farmer organizations will gather, strong police-RAF arrangements

And today at around 11 am the protestors will meet the wrestlers. It is also believed that today representatives of some khap panchayats may also participate in the protest. Along with this, Rakesh Tikait says that, looking at the security situation, no big gathering is expected. It may be informed that the strike of wrestlers at Jantar Mantar is now taking an even bigger form. Wrestlers who should be in the arena have been protesting against WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for the past 15 days. These wrestlers are getting support from all the opposition leaders as well. Apart from this, some farmers’ organizations have also come out in their support. On the other hand, other organizations want to support them on their behalf but they are not getting permission to sit on dharna with these wrestlers. Here today, a large number of RAF, CRP and Delhi Police personnel have been deployed at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. At the same time, strict and elaborate security arrangements have been made regarding this mahapanchayat to be held today. It is also believed that many khaps and farmer organizations are about to reach here. Rakesh Tikait will also reach here today at 11 am. In such a situation, today slow moving vehicles will be stopped at the border itself and they will not be allowed to enter Delhi under any circumstances. Today, a heavy police force has been deployed from the Delhi side on the Delhi-Ghazipur border of Ghaziabad. A large number of farmers are expected to come to Jantar Mantar today in support of the wrestlers. Let us tell you that these wrestlers have been staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar since April 23 against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of the Wrestling Federation of India. On the other hand, on April 28, the Delhi Police has also registered two FIRs against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on these allegations. One of these was registered under the POCSO Act as a minor girl has made serious allegations of sexual exploitation against Singh.
