Oman defeated UAE by 5 wickets in the eighth match of the ICC ODI World Cup Qualifier Round Tournament being played in Zimbabwe. This is Oman’s second consecutive win in this tournament. Oman won the toss and put UAE to bat in their match played at Bulawayo Athletic Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on Wednesday, 21 June. Batting first, UAE scored 227 for 8 in 50 overs and gave Oman a target of 228 runs to win. From UAE, Ayan Khan played the biggest unbeaten innings of 58 runs in 52 balls with the help of 10 fours for his team.
