Jofra Archer Injured | Big blow to England, Jofra Archer out of Ashes series due to elbow injury

London: England fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the Ashes series against Australia due to a right elbow injury. Due to this injury, Archer has been able to play very little cricket from 2021. According to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), scans have revealed a flare-up of his elbow injury, ruling him out of any international matches this summer. The 28-year-old fast bowler, born in Barbados, had two operations on his elbow in 2021. He was associated with the Mumbai Indians team to play in the Indian Premier League this year but had to return home midway. ECB Managing Director Robert Key said, “It has been a disappointing and troubling time for Jofra Archer. He was making good progress until he recovered from an elbow injury.
