French Open | Novak Djokovic defeats Carlos Alcaraz in French Open final

Novak Djokovic used his experience and great fitness to beat Carlos Alcaraz 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 in the semi-finals of the French Open on Friday to move towards a record 23rd Grand Slam title. He defeated world number one Alcaraz 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1. He is one shot short of a record 23rd Gand Slam title. During this, Alcaraz took the second set with a brilliant shot. But fatigue caught up with him after that and the world number three Serbian, playing his 45th semi-final at a Grand Slam, did not have much trouble in registering a win. Alcaraz took a break to combat fatigue and muscle strain, but it didn’t help. Djokovic said after winning the match, “I can understand their problem. Feel bad for them.
