Faith Kipyegon | Kenyan sprinter sets new world record in women’s 1500m



Florence (Italy): Faith Kipyegon of Kenya set a new world record in the women’s 1,500 meters at the Golden Gala Athletics (Diamond League) competition. Kipyegon clocked 3:49.11 to set a world record in the Diamond League event on Friday. Two-time Olympic champion and two-time world champion Kipyegon broke the record of 3:50.07 set by Ethiopia’s Genzebe Dibaba in 2015.
