Doha. In javelin throw, Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra started the Diamond League held in Doha with a win on Friday. He has entered the fray with the intention of retaining this title. Chopra (25), who won the Diamond League trophy held in Switzerland in September 2022, threw the javelin at a distance of 88.67 meters in Doha in a best performance this year. Chopra threw the javelin 88.67m in his first attempt, the fourth best performance of his career, and remained on top of the list till the final time. He had participated in this competition for the first time in the year 2018 and then he had finished fourth.
