File Photo – Vinay Kumar Indian Test team batsman Cheteshwar Pujara (Cheteshwar Pujara) form once again. I have returned. A lot of headlines were made when Cheteshwar Pujara was not selected in the Test Ten playing for the 2-match Test series in the West Indies tour of the Indian team. Cricket pundits also raised questions on the decision of the team selectors. And, raised many questions about Cheteshwar Pujara not being included in the tour of West Indies. Cheteshwar Pujara’s brilliant century in Duleep Trophy It is noteworthy that on June 23, Team India was announced for the tour of West Indies. Out of which Pujara’s name was missing. Now Cheteshwar Pujara has shown the mirror to the team selectors with his brilliant century. Pujara hit a brilliant century in the second innings of the first semi-final match of Duleep Trophy 2023 between West Zone vs Central Zone. Playing for the West Zone, this century came off the bat of Pujara. He scored 133 runs in 278 balls with the help of 14 fours and 1 six. Also read It is worth noting that Cheteshwar Pujara took the field in the ICC WTC 2023 Final India vs Australia Championship played in England. But, his bat could not speak. His performance was poor. Pujara scored 14 runs in the first innings and only 27 runs in the second innings. This is the reason why he was not included in the team for the tour of West Indies. The BCCI’s selection committee is under the scanner for not selecting Pujara for the West Indies tour. It is being said wrong that he was not included on the disappointing performance of just one match. Cheteshwar Pujara has played many brilliant innings in his Test career. This latest Duleep Trophy century is testimony to the fact that there is still a lot of life left in Cheteshwar Pujara’s batting. Significantly, the first match of the 2-match Test series between India and West Indies is starting from 12 July. Cheteshwar Pujara has not been taken in this series.
