He completed 1000 runs in Test cricket. In the first match of the 5-match Test series The Ashes ENG vs AUS 2023 being played at Edgbaston, Cameron Green played an inning of 38 runs in 68 balls and touched this figure. Cameron Green, however, did touch the 1000-run mark in Test cricket. But, the next day of the match, he failed to play long and big innings. As soon as he took the 28th run in his first innings batting, he completed 1000 runs in Test cricket. But, on a personal score of 38 runs, he fell victim to England’s deadly off-spinner Moeen Ali and had to return to the pavilion. Significantly, Cameron Green made his career debut while playing against India in International Test cricket.
