Asian Games | Indian women’s hockey team to tour Australia to prepare for Asian Games



New Delhi: The Indian women’s hockey team will tour Australia to play a five-match series in preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China. . This tour of the Indian team will start on May 18 and end on May 27. The Indian team will face the Australian national team in the first three matches while the last two matches will be played against the Australia A team. All matches will be played in Adelaide. India will play its first match against Australia on May 18, while the next two matches will be played on May 20 and 21. The Indian team will play Australia A on May 25 and 27. The Australian women’s hockey team is currently ranked third in the world rankings while the Indian team is ranked eighth. This tour of the Indian team will be organized in connection with the preparations for the Asian Games which are to be held in September-October this year.
