Paris: A powerful explosion rocked a building on the Left Bank of Paris in France on Wednesday, injuring at least 16 people. Due to this, the smoke of the fire has enveloped the monuments of the city and people had to be evacuated from the buildings around the scene. The cause of the explosion was not immediately known. A Paris police official said the facade of a building in the Fifth arrondissement had collapsed and emergency workers were trying to find out if anyone was inside.
