It should be known that, on Thursday, the Supreme Court ordered the immediate release of Imran in the Al Qadir Trust scam, terming it as illegal. He was told to collect his bail from the Islamabad High Court on Friday. However, Imran has got relief for the time being in another Toshakhana case. The Islamabad High Court has now stayed the proceedings of the trial court. Be aware that the Election Commission of Pakistan had sought permission for criminal trial in this matter. Against this, Imran again filed an application in the High Court. On which the court stayed the proceedings and said that the sessions court will not conduct any hearing in this case till further orders.
