People have come out from Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested the establishment of International Yoga Day during his address to the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. He proposed to make June 21 International Yoga Day. The resolution received overwhelming support from UN member states and was approved on 11 December 2014. Yoga gained immense popularity around the world because of its ability to increase flexibility, strength, balance and overall fitness. Let us inform that this year the theme of Yoga Day is ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. It emphasizes on the spirit of Yoga, which takes everyone together.
