New Delhi. While on one hand, on Thursday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the release of former Prime Minister and Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, terming his arrest as illegal. On the other hand, tension may increase in Islamabad amid Imran Khan’s appearance today. Along with this, there will be a big show of strength by Imran supporters in Islamabad today. For this, PTI supporters have been called from all over Pakistan. At the same time, Section 144 continues amid tension in Islamabad. The march of Imran supporters to Islamabad is also going on. Significantly, Imran was arrested on Tuesday from the biometric room of the Islamabad High Court by the paramilitary force on the warrant of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The High Court upheld his arrest as legal and handed him over to NAB on physical remand for 8 days. At the same time, in the hearing held under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, the court expressed displeasure over the arrest of PTI Chief Imran Khan. The court has asked Imran to appear before the Islamabad High Court today i.e. Friday, May 12. Along with this, the court told Imran Khan that you (Imran Khan) will have to accept the decision of the High Court. According to the information, Imran was arrested in the Al Qadir Trust Scam. The same government alleges that it is a scam of 60 billion Pakistani rupees. Out of these, 40 billion was given to Pakistan by the British government itself. Imran was the Prime Minister then, he hid this matter even from the cabinet.
