New Delhi / Tokyo. While on one hand the leaders of 7 countries of the world’s most powerful democracies are currently meeting in Hiroshima, which was a victim of Nuclear War in World War II. A Buddhist monk from Japan, Toyoshige Sekiguchi, is holding a unique demonstration outside the G7 International Media Center in Hiroshima. We don’t want more tragedy…. On August 6, 1945, an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and so many people were killed. In such a situation, the G7 meeting is being held in a city which has been a victim of nuclear attack. Be aware that, on August 6, 1945, the US had launched a fierce nuclear attack on Hiroshima at 8.16 minutes. The horrific initial eruption then killed 70,000 people and left tens of thousands more to slowly burn or die of suffocation.
