Australia | 10 killed, 25 injured in road accident in Australia



Canberra: 10 people were killed, while 25 others were injured after a bus overturned in the Vine area in Greta city, Australia. The police gave this information on Monday. Assistant Police Commissioner Tracey Chapman said that the bus driver (58) has been arrested. He was taken to Cessnock police station and a case will be registered against him. He did not elaborate on the charges against the driver. However, he told reporters, “We have enough information to make allegations.” The accident happened just after 11.30pm at a roundabout on Wine Country Drive in the town of Greta, north of Sydney. The passengers of the bus were returning after attending a wedding ceremony. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese thanked rescue workers who rushed to the scene and expressed his condolences to the victims and their families.
