The survey was conducted between April 26 and May 10, before the last round of job cuts. Earlier in the survey conducted in October 2022, this figure was 31%. Mark Zuckerberg has laid off over 21,000 Meta employees since last year. First of all, in November 2022, the company laid off 13% i.e. 11,000 employees to cut costs. Then, in 2023, the company announced a total of 10,000 layoffs (meta layoffs). This reduction in jobs has been done in several phases. This has increased the mental pressure on the employees for the last few days. In such a situation, an internal survey of the company revealed that 74% of the company’s employees are not happy with Zuckerberg’s leadership due to these job cuts. In view of the economic slowdown, tech companies have made major layoffs this year. Accenture, Amazon, Meta and other tech companies have announced massive layoffs. Amazon 27 thousand, Meta 21 thousand, Accenture 19 thousand, Microsoft 10 thousand, Alphabet 12 thousand, Selfforce 8 thousand, HP 6 thousand, IBM 3 thousand 900, Twitter 3 thousand 700 and Sagagate 3 Thousands of employees have been laid off.
