Exchange Limit 2000 Notes | SBI will change 10 notes of 2000 in one go without any slip



Pic: Social Media New Delhi. According to a big news, the Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI has decided to withdraw the Rs 2,000 note from circulation. Since then, confusion has spread among the people about this note. In such a situation, where someone is calling it demonetisation, then someone is saying that the note will be out completely. But, now RBI has clarified that till 30 September 2023, 2000 notes are fully valid and their transactions will continue in the market. No one can refuse transactions with Rs 2000 note. Along with this, now SBI has also clarified that the facility of exchange of bank notes of Rs 2000 denomination up to a limit of Rs 20,000 at a time will be given without demanding any slip. These notes will be valid till 30 September 2023. People who have Rs 2,000 notes can deposit them in their bank or nearest bank or exchange them for notes of other denominations. This facility of changing notes in banks will start from May 23. On the other hand, according to news agency ANI, RBI has said that Rs 2000 note will remain legal tender even after September 30. Actually RBI expects that 4 months is enough time for people to exchange notes with banks. Most of the Rs 2000 notes circulating in the market will be returned to the banks within the stipulated deadline of 30 September.
