Along with the emphasis on development of indigenous technology, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, speaking at an event of the Confederation of Industry (CII) this week, said that discussions are going on with several companies for the development of economically viable electric highways. Development of pollution free and indigenous technology is necessary. Gadkari had announced the concept of development of Electric Highway a few days back.
