Till now people used to make UPI payment through debit card only. Credit card payment can be made through select UPI enabled apps like BHIM, Paytm, PhonePe. Credit card holders of Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Canara Bank have got this facility. To link the credit card with UPI, you have to follow some steps. First of all, you have to download any digital payment app like BHIM, PhonePe, Paytm, Mobikwik. After this, you will have to log-in by entering your details in these apps, that is, you will have to register in these apps. There is no registration fee or any other charge in these apps. After registration you have to select your bank for payment. After this, you have to select the credit card linked from your mobile, which you want to link with UPI payment. After this you have to generate UPI PIN, then you have to select your credit card from credit card account. You will choose the option to set your UPI PIN, then you will enter the last 6 digits of your card and its expiry date.
