Air India | DGCA fines Air India Rs 30 lakh, suspends pilot’s license
File Pic New Delhi: Aviation regulator DGCA on Friday imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh on the airline for negligence on the part of Air India flight coming from Dubai to Delhi on February 27. According to the complaint, the pilot of this Air India flight had allowed his female friend to enter the cockpit. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), in a statement issued after probing the matter, announced a fine of Rs 30 lakh on Air India. Along with this, the license of the pilot of the flight has been suspended for three months.
