IPL 2022 Eliminator LSG out of the tournament after loss against RCB mhsd

Kolkata, May 26: RCB has thrashed Lucknow Super Giants (RCB vs LSG) in the IPL 2022 Eliminator, thus ending Lucknow’s challenge in the IPL play-offs. Chasing the RCB’s 208-run target, Lucknow lost 6 wickets in 20 overs to reach 193 runs. KL Rahul scored 79 off 58 balls while Deepak Hooda scored 45 off 26 balls. From RCB, Josh Hazlewood was the top wicket taker with 3 wickets, while Mohammad Siraj, Vanindu Hasaranga and Hershal Patel took 1-1 wickets. Lucknow captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl first, after which Rajat Patidar’s century helped RCB to 207 for 4 in 20 overs. Rajat Patidar completed his century in 49 balls. Patidar remained unbeaten on 112 off 54 balls. His innings included 12 fours and 7 sixes. Patidar was also well supported by Dinesh Karthik. Karthik hit 37 off 23 balls with the help of 1 six and 5 fours. Patidar and Karthik shared an unbeaten 91 off 41 balls, giving Lucknow a 208-run victory. From Lucknow, Mohsin Khan, Krinal Pandya, Awesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi took 1-1 wickets each.
Near RCB finalWith this defeat in Lucknow, their challenge in the IPL has come to an end, while RCB will have to play another match to reach the final. The second qualifier between RCB and Rajasthan Royals will be played on Friday. The winning team will play against Gujarat Titans in the final on Sunday.
