Other infections may lead if corona rtpcr test report is negative but symptoms are present in patients rp

New Delhi, 12 January : Coronavirus infection in India (Coronavirus) Corona patients are growing rapidly in India. Now, more than one and a half lakh cases of Kovid infections are coming to the fore every day. In the last 24 hours, 1.79 lakh Kovid patients were registered in the country. However, according to the new guidelines, the period of quarantine or isolation for covid patients has now been reduced from 14 days to 7 days. The infection is said to be gone in seven days. Even so, covid’s symptoms do not go away in many patients, even after the RTPCR report is negative. Patients continue to suffer from coughs, colds, headaches, sore throats or body aches. So the biggest question is, why do the symptoms persist even after the report is negative and the infection has healed? If so, is it a threat? In this regard, the associate director of Max Hospital, Gurugram, Dr. Shailesh Sahay told News18 that the corona patients who are currently coming forward are asymptomatic, with mild or moderate symptoms. Whatever the reasons, be it omicron or corona vaccination, critical patients are not coming forward at present. In such cases, the ICMR also gives guidelines that the patient is recovering from covid infection within seven days at this time. If someone has more problems or symptoms, it is enough to keep them in isolation for a maximum of 10 days. Therefore, the patient recovers from the corona infection in 7 to 10 days. Furthermore, if not hospitalized, re-RT-PCR testing is not required to declare the patient infection-free. Read this – Food Combination: Caution! If the symptoms persist despite the negative report, it can be a disease – Dr. Sahay says that in many cases, the patient’s RTPCR report appears to be corona negative after seven days. However, symptoms of a corona infection, such as a cold, cough, chills, body aches, headache or fever are still present. In such a case, there may be another reason behind the symptoms. Dr. Sahay says that even after the infection is over, the patient still has one or more problems. The patient may have a throat, stomach, or chest infection, or may have a urinary tract infection (urine infection), fever, and other problems. In such cases, it is necessary to diagnose and treat these diseases. Read this – Really! Vaccinators do not need to be admitted to the ICU; About what the doctor said

There is no need to panic in this situation. Sahay says that according to the new guidelines, there may or may not be any symptoms during this entire covid period, but after 7 days of quarantine, the patients are freeing themselves from the infection. Assuming there are still signs of infection, there is no need to panic if the blood oxygen level is above 94 and does not go down. Therefore, if there are any problems or symptoms, the patient should regularly measure the oxygen level in the pulse-oximeter. However, if the oxygen level falls below 94, consult a doctor.
