Although the Omicron variant has been found in South Africa, its immediate effects are not likely to be seen in Maharashtra. The decision to open the school was taken by the education department and the health department has given NOC. However, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting of all the departments in this regard tomorrow evening in which the appropriate decision will be taken after discussing the school issue, informed Rajesh Tope.
