Protests by traders against Amazon

News Agency / New Delhi
American e-commerce company Amazon has been embroiled in controversy for the past few days. Investigations have revealed that terrorists ordered chemicals from Amazon for the Pulwama attack. Against this backdrop, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) on Wednesday staged anti-Amazon protests in more than 1,200 cities in more than 500 districts across the country. Amazon has been selling cannabis illegally through its portal. Other items, including banned chemicals, have been sold in the manufacture of bombs used against the country’s security forces. As a result, the country’s e-commerce business has been accused of being very corrupt.
Traders have warned Amazon to either change its business model in accordance with the law and regulations or pick up its bed from India. Violations of laws and regulations will no longer be tolerated in the e-commerce business. If no immediate action is taken in this regard, the country’s traders will close their trade with India, CAIT said.
CAT has demanded an inquiry into the business model of e-commerce companies. At the same time, Aryan Khan was arrested in a drug case, and Amazon officials should be arrested immediately in a cannabis sale case. Amazon should be charged with treason for helping to sell the chemicals in the Pulwama attack.
