But the disappearance of two senior Taliban leaders has sparked controversy in international politics. In fact, the Taliban’s top leader, Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, and the current government’s deputy prime minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, have been missing for the past few days and have not been seen in public. So that’s exactly where these leaders are. Did anything happen to them? Such discussions are rife. Supreme Leader Haibatullah Akhundzada has been missing since the Taliban took control of Kabul. However, a public statement was issued on behalf of Akhundzada after the announcement of the new government. The Taliban has said that Akhundzada will soon appear in public. This was stated by Taliban spokesman Jabihullah Mujahid at a press conference. But so far this moment has not come yet. So the suspicion is growing. What is special is that so far the only photo of Akhundzada is available.

In addition, various rumors are circulating about Mullah Gani Baradar, the deputy prime minister in the Taliban government. He is said to have been killed or seriously injured. In particular, a few days ago, there were reports of bloody clashes between Baradar and Haqqani groups. It is said that the clash took place due to differences over the Panjshir issue. However, the Taliban had denied the allegations.

Mulla Baradar, on the other hand, issued an audio message announcing that he was fit. Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem shared an audio message from Mullah Abdul Gani Baradar on his Twitter account on Monday. In a related message, Mulla Baradar had said that he was alive and well. Discussions are going on in the international media that Baradar’s disappearance from public appearance and issuance of audio messages instead of video is suspicious.
