Record for billions of vaccinations
India has so far recorded a dose of 75 crore doses. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavia made the announcement on Monday. According to the central government, it took 85 days to deliver the first 100 million doses to India. It took 45 days to give 20 crore doses, 30 days and 24 days each to give 40 crore vaccines. Then it took 20 days to cross the 50 crore mark, 19 days for the 60 crore mark and 13 days to cross the 60 to 75 crore mark. India crossed this historic milestone on September 7.
