The England and Wales Cricket Board on Wednesday announced a 17-member squad for the first two Tests against India (India vs England). Haseeb Hameed scored a century in the practice match against India. The India-England series starts on August 4.

Haseeb Hameed completed his century in 228 balls, including 12 fours. Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur bowled for India in the match, adding to Hamid’s century.

Haseeb Hameed has scored 219 runs at an average of 44 in 3 Tests, including two fifties, with 82 being his highest score.

Haseeb Hameed, 24, has scored 3,821 runs at an average of 33 in 77 first-class matches before the match, including seven centuries and 22 fifties. This is his 8th century in a practice match. Hamid played 19 matches in List M and scored 556 runs with 4 fifties.
