Chennai, July 20: Former Team India cricketer Suresh Raina is being trolled on social media. Raina says that being a Brahmin, it is easy for him to accept the culture of Chennai. Suresh Raina was called up for the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) commentary.
The first match of the TNPL was played on Monday between Laika Kovai Kings and Salem Spartans. During the match, Raina, a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player, was asked by a commentator how it was possible to get close to southern culture.
Did #SureshRaina just say ‘Am also a Brahmin’ on national television..😂😂

Answering the commentator’s question, Raina said, ‘I think I am also a Brahmin. I have been playing in Chennai since 2004. I love the culture here. I also like teammates. I have played with Aniruddha Srikant, Subramaniam Badrinath and Lakshmipati Balaji. You should learn good things from them. The administration of our team is also good. We have the freedom to do different things. I consider myself lucky to be in the Chennai Super Kings team. We expect to play more matches there, ‘said Raina.

MImRaina you should be ashamed yourself.
It seems that you have never experienced real Chennai culture though you have been playing many years for Chennai team. https://t.co/ZICLRr0ZLh
