Maharashtra Coronavirus news: The number of patients in the state has increased once again today. While 376 corona-infected patients have been reported.
Mumbai, April 8: Corona in Maharashtra (Coronavirus in Maharasthra) It seems to be getting thicker day by day. Given the growing number of corona patients, the state government has launched a mini-lockdown (Maharashtra mini lockdown) Despite the announcement, the increase in the number of victims in the state does not seem to be slowing down. Today, 56,286 new patients have been diagnosed in the state, while 376 crore infected patients have died in the state today.
5,21,317 active patients in the state
Today, 36,130 patients have overcome corona. A total of 26,49,757 infected patients have recovered and gone home in the state so far. The recovery rate of patients in the state is 82.05%. There are a total of 5,21,317 active patients in the state today. The total number of coronary heart disease patients in the state has reached 32,29,547.
The state has recorded 376 crore deaths of infected patients today. At present the mortality rate in the state is 1.77%. Out of 2,13,85,551 laboratory samples tested till date, 32,29,547 (15.10 per cent) samples have tested positive. At present, 27,02,613 persons are in home quarantine and 22,661 persons are in institutional quarantine in the state.

The number of corona cases is increasing in various parts of the state. Today, the highest number of 16,574 new corona cases has been reported in Thane Mandal. Since then, 13561 new corona cases have been reported in Pune Mandal. After this, 8723 victims have been registered in Nagpur Mandal.

Which district has the most active patients?
Pune district has the highest number of active patients in the state. To date, there are 97242 active patients in Pune district. There are 83693 active patients in Mumbai, 69993 in Thane, 61711 in Nagpur and 34919 in Nashik.
Lack of corona vaccine
While the number of patients in the state is increasing, on the other hand, there is a shortage of corona vaccine. The state currently needs 40 lakh doses per day, a demand made by the state government to the Center. However, there is still a shortage of corona vaccine in the state. Vaccination has stalled in various parts of the state due to shortage of vaccines.
