Within 24 hours of becoming president, he has overturned a number of controversial decisions by outgoing President Donald Trump. In it, Biden overturns a decision by the Trump administration that barred citizens of Muslim countries from entering the United States.
During his presidency, US President Donald Trump banned citizens of 13 Muslim countries from traveling to the United States. These included Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and Nigeria.
‘Mexico Wall’ postponed
Biden has postponed a decision to build a Mexico Wall on the US-Mexico border. Donald Trump decided to build the wall to prevent illegal immigration from Mexico to the United States. Biden has ordered a halt to funding for the project as soon as he becomes president.
The United States will participate in the Paris Agreement
Within hours of Biden’s presidency, the United States has announced that it will rejoin the international Paris Climate Agreement to fight climate change.
CNN reports that Biden has signed Yababach’s decision. The decision was also announced on the official Twitter handle of the US President.

Donald Trump announced in 2017 that the United States was withdrawing from the agreement. His decision drew worldwide criticism. Trump claimed that the Paris Agreement was not in America’s interest. Biden had earlier announced that he would overturn Trump’s decision as soon as he became president.
