Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has resigned. He will take up his post by the end of this year.
Washington, February 03: Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has resigned. He will step down by the end of this year. Amazon announced on Tuesday that AWS CEO Andy Jassy will replace Jeff Bezos in the third quarter of this year. In addition, Jeff Bezos has announced that he will be the executive chairman of the board. Bezos has also sent a letter to his staff informing them of the decision. In a letter written on Tuesday, he said he was stepping down as CEO of the company. Jassy is currently the head of Amazon’s web services.
Profits were at record levels in the Corona period
Bezos founded Amazon as a startup. Now Amazon has become one of the largest companies in the world. Jeff is the richest man in the world because of his partnership with Amazon. His company had sales of 100 100 billion in the last three months of 2020. As a result, Amazon’s profits rose to record levels.

Bezos will focus on this after his resignation
Bezos said in a letter that he would be involved in important Amazon projects but would focus on philanthropic initiatives, the Welfare Scheme Day One Fund and the Bezos Earth Fund. He has also expressed confidence in Andy Jesse. In addition to Bezos Amazon, the Washington Post owns the newspaper and private space company Blue Origin.
