The plan is Dubai Connect, which will provide free hotel accommodation to passengers traveling to Dubai from the airline.
New Delhi, November 27: During the Coronnavirus crisis, all transportation systems were closed. Airlines around the world were also shut down. Domestic airlines were then gradually launched, with commercial international airlines closed until 31 December. Special international airlines were allowed to operate in some countries from May under the Vande Bharat Mission and from July under bilateral air bubble agreements. India has signed Air Bubble Agreements with about 18 countries.
Meanwhile, the flight was allowed only after testing PPE kits and corona. So now Emirates Airlines has come up with a new plan to make the journey easier for the citizens. The plan is Dubai Connect, which will provide free hotel accommodation to passengers traveling to Dubai from the airline.
If a traveler wants to stay in Dubai for more than 10 hours, they will be offered a free hotel stay. The facility will be provided by the airline and passengers will not have to pay any fee for it. In this, passengers will get free stay in four star and five star hotels. These include ground transfers, free meals at hotels and instant visas if your stay in the UAE is between 10 and 24 hours. Emirates will resume its flights from 1 December 2020. Since March 25, the airline has shut down all airlines due to the Corona crisis, including domestic, foreign and all other airlines.
Who will benefit?
Every citizen traveling on an Emirates flight will be able to take advantage of this scheme. Passengers traveling in Economy Class and First Class will benefit from this scheme. In this you need to complete all the documents. It also includes a negative report of the corona test. If you start doing PCR test after landing at Dubai airport, you will not be able to take advantage of Dubai Connect.
How often do you have to stay in Dubai for this?
In Dubai you need to wait 10 to 24 hours for this. Passengers traveling in Economy Class, Business Class and First Class will be able to take advantage of this Dubai Connect service. You will be able to avail this service for only two trips and you will not get this benefit if you use any airline other than Emirates.
Where will long-distance travelers be accommodated?
Passengers who qualify for the scheme will be offered accommodation at the Coperthon, a four-star hotel in Dubai. Or stay at the five-star Le-Meridian Hotel in Dubai. To avail this scheme, you need to contact the Dubai Service Desk 24 hours before you leave for Dubai. You can avail the scheme by contacting this desk after landing at Dubai Airport and completing your further process.
